Answers

  What is microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive skin care process that exfoliates the top layer of skin.  This skin revitalizing treatment repairs skin damage from the sun, scars, acne and the effects of aging.

  What is natural diamond microdermabrasion?
It implores the latest skin care technology by using a natural diamond tip to exfoliate the top layer of skin. This process is safer than other microdermabrasion methods as it does not involve harmful aluminum oxide crystals.

How does the Micropeel A-600 work?
The Micropeel A-600's natural diamond tip gently removes dead skin cells in a controlled and precise manner.  The dead skin cells are gently vacuumed with a variable level pump onto a filter.  The filter is removed and discarded after each treatment.  The skin is left smoother as the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow and cleans the pores. The increased blood flow encourages collagen formation thus firming and toning the epidermis.

What skin types Can the Micropeel A-600 treat?
Nearly all skin types from oily to dry can benefit from use of the Micropeel A-600. However, you should not perform microdermabrasion if you have certain medical conditions such as active herpes, warts, weeping acne (stages 3-4), active rosacea or eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, lupus, unstable diabetes or auto-immune system disorders.

Top of FAQ

  Is the Micropeel A-600 safe?
Absolutely.  The Micropeel A-600 is a closed, non-invasive system that does not use aluminum oxide crystals.  Therefore no threat exists of inhalation or absorption of aluminum oxide dust. Also the Micropeel A-600 allows the user to control the vacuum pressure for maximum comfort. The Micropeel A-600 is the first and only FDA approved natural diamond microdermabrasion device for home use. In addition, the Micropeel A-600 carries two ISO standards and conforms with the CE Marking.

Why is the Micropeel A-600 better than other exfoliation treatments?
The Micropeel A-600 is the only in-home microdermabrasion device that uses a natural diamond tip to exfoliate your skin. The Micropeel A-600's mechanism is the same to that of the professional machines used in a spa or salon. Therefore you will receive comparable results without the great expense of going to a spa and salon.

Is the Micropeel A-600 painful or have side effects?
The treatment is painless with virtually no side effects. The hazards associated with the crystal method are eliminated.  The natural diamond tip causes less irritation to the skin while at the same time allows for a more comfortable, complete and rejuvenating treatment. Some mild tightening or tingling after exfoliation may be felt although the skin will remain smooth. The moisture of any topical treatment will leave the skin with a cool, refreshed feeling. An anti-oxidant enriched sunscreen is essential to use afterwards since the exfoliated skin has temporarily lost some of its natural protection to the environment. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure and tanning for a few days and to use a sunscreen.

How often should I use the Micropeel A-600?
Your Micropeel A-600 should not to be used on a daily basis. It is recommended that when starting your treatments, you should be aware of your skin type and its condition. Start on the lowest settings and gently exfoliate your skin every 2 weeks. Cautiously increase the power if needed on your next treatment and continue every 2weeks. For dry, sensitive skin -- use the lowest power setting once to twice a month. For oily to normal skin -- gradually increase the power setting if needed and perform every 10-14 days.

How long does each treatment take?
Each treatment takes only about 10 minutes.

How long will the tip and filters last?
Under typical usage of every 2 weeks, the tip should last two years. 100 filters come with your Micropeel A-600 which under typical usage should also last you two years.

  When will I see results?
Your skin will feel smoother and have a vibrant glow after the treatment. Hyper-pigmentation, certain types of acne scars, fine lines, and stretch-marks will lessen gradually over a series of Micropeel A-600 treatments.

How long will the results last?
This will depend on the frequency and combination of treatments and the skin's initial condition.  Generally after four to six treatments, along with a supportive daily routine, the skin will show significant results.  Continuation of treatment will depend on the skin's condition and the desired results.
