Circulation is Key to Healing

Our products increase blood circulation in a number of ways, by direct modes of skin therapy, and through secondary effects. Warm/Cold hammers with alternating temperature cycles increase blood circulation, absorption of topical agents, and skin elasticity. Precisely controlled conductive heat increases the circulation and speeds healing for acne sufferers. By elevating deep skin and tissue layer temperature, ultrasound improves blood circulation, stimulates skin, joint, and muscle recovery from illness and injury. In addition to gentle intracellular heating, ultrasonic waves act directly to clear skin by breaking up sebaceous formations, pigmentation features, and local fat cell deposits while promoting tissue healing.

Red Light Penetrates Deep into the Skin to Improve Circulation

Red Light encourages growth of new blood vessels in deep layers of skin and underlying tissue. It penetrates deep into the skin to strengthen the vascular walls. The penetration of the light waves improves oxygenation and detoxification of the skin. Hydration and moisture retention is improved. Cellular activity is increased and the skin’s natural ability to heal is improved which creates healthy skin conditions for cell regeneration.

NASA began conducting research on the healing properties of the skin. It was shown that the Red Light promoted faster healing without interfering with a person’s daily living. This research has proven that LED light therapy (near-infrared) promotes wound healing and human tissue growth . The energy delivered by the Light Emitting Diodes (LED's) enhances cellular metabolism, accelerates the repair and replenishment of damaged  skin cells, as well as stimulates the production of collagen - the foundation of a healthy and smooth skin. This regeneration strengthens and tightens the skin which causes fewer wrinkles and faster healing.

Ultrasonic Therapy

Ultrasonic Therapy promotes healing as it stimulates the release of toxins and waste products out of the cells and transfers them into the lymphatic system. Ultrasonic therapy is increases blood supply which promotes healing, pain-killing effects on muscle spasms, and healing of scar tissue. Recent experiments have also shown that ultrasonic therapy may be beneficial to fracture healing. This finding is of considerable importance, showing that low-intensity pulsed ultrasound signal may reduce healing time.
